Solid wood pieces last a long time if you treat them simply.
No unnecessary chemicals: water, dry quickly, a little oil from time to time.

Cutting boards
Cutting boards
Wash by hand with warm water and a little mild soap. Dry at once.
Do not soak, and do not leave it on the wet side.
Dull or pale surface: rub in a thin coat of care oil, let it absorb, wipe off the excess.
Occasionally a thin layer of wax. Less is more
to avoid:
Dishwasher, soaking, strong heat (radiator, direct sun, oven).
Knife marks are part of use. They are not a defect.
Cracks come from moisture and heat, not from normal cutting.
Each board comes with its care kit: a care oil and a care wax for cutting boards.
